Exam plan 68 exams

Remelia for Quest maths, English and reasoning tests

68 exams the app plans for are set by Quest Assessments, most of them maths, English and reasoning. Each plan takes the parts below that its test sets; a part a plan words its own way (to Year 5, for a test sat early) is on that exam’s guide, with its dates, papers, places, and anything it sets beyond these.

Each exam plan is dated from your child’s year group: Remelia works to the sitting for the September they start Year 7. For a school without a plan, choose “Not sure yet” and Remelia teaches the Key Stage 2 curriculum with no exam date.

Checked against the sources on 22 September 2026; each exam’s guide lists its own.

Remelia and these exams

What Remelia covers, and what it does not.

What Remelia covers

  • Maths all 68 plans

The Key Stage 2 objectives for Years 3 to 6, in the order your child’s school teaches them, counted towards the exam.

  • English 64 of the 68 plans

Grammar, punctuation, spelling and vocabulary questions most days, Years 3 to 6, counted towards the exam.

  • Reading 64 of the 68 plans

From the autumn of Year 5, a weekly reading day: one unseen passage and 9 questions on it, from a bank of 130 passages.

  • Verbal reasoning 58 of the 68 plans

21 of the question types in GL Assessment’s verbal reasoning familiarisation papers (letter and number series, codes, logic puzzles, word puzzles and word meanings), mixed into the sessions and counted towards the exam. The types a test sets can differ from year to year, and Quest Assessments’ own may differ from GL’s.

  • Non-verbal reasoning 58 of the 68 plans

13 question types from the providers’ own sample material (shape series and grids, pairs, similarities, odd one out, codes, rotation, reflection, hidden shapes, folding and punching, and nets), each a drawing with five options, mixed into the sessions and counted towards the exam. The types a test sets can differ from year to year, and from provider to provider.

  • The last fortnight all 68 plans

In the last 14 days before the exam date the plan works to, sessions are shorter and nothing new is introduced.

  • The writing In part 30 of the 68 plans

Short timed pieces that a grown-up marks at home with ticks: one a fortnight from the spring of Year 4, one a week from the autumn of Year 5. They practise part of what the exam’s writing asks; they are not its paper, and they are not counted towards the exam.

  • Science 1 of the 68 plans

The Key Stage 2 science programme of study for Years 3 to 6, asked as reasoning over what the question gives: fair tests, tables and graphs, circuits, keys and food chains, and 104 short scenarios to read and answer from, mixed into the sessions and counted towards the exam. Year 6 science is in the plan too: all 15 of its objectives have notes, and one so far has questions; the rest are named as not covered yet.

Not covered

  • The interview 50 of the 68 plans

A conversation with the school, which an app cannot practise.

  • The test itself all 68 plans

Remelia practises the content, not Quest Assessments’ own screens, papers or timings: the familiarisation materials, where there are any, show those.

  • English papers in this test’s style 64 of the 68 plans

The printable English practice papers in the parents’ app are in the style of the FSCE test’s multiple-choice paper, not Quest Assessments’ own.
