“Candidates for Year 7 entry will be required to sit a mathematics paper lasting for one hour which will include short number work as well as longer, more challenging, questions. A calculator is not allowed. The Year 7 entry English examination is set over one hour, during which candidates will need to plan and execute a comprehension and piece of writing. These tests in English and mathematics are designed to test potential rather than knowledge.”

Our Entrance Examinations will be held on Saturday 21 November 2026. The examinations are held in the morning and, in the afternoon, there will be fun activities which are part of the assessment process.”
