Dame Allan’s Schools — 11+ entrance assessment (Year 7)

Dame Allan’s Schools’ 11+ entrance test is set by Quest Assessments, taken online. It tests maths, English, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning.

  • Reading

    From the autumn of Year 5, a weekly reading day: one unseen passage and 9 questions on it, from a bank of 130 passages.

  • The last fortnight

    In the last 14 days before the exam date the plan works to, sessions are shorter and nothing new is introduced. No month is published, so the plan works to January of Year 6, when most Quest Assessments tests are sat: an estimate.
